As a programmer, I have always been drawn to new and challenging technical problems, ever since I was creating my own games in BASIC on my Amstrad CPC back in the '80s. My passion led me to teach myself C in my teens, and I have been seeking out fresh and exciting opportunities ever since.
In 2001, I started what would later become Brava Software Solutions while working as a software engineer for DHL. While the work was engaging, I felt limited in my exploration of new technologies and other areas of software development, so I began taking on work in my spare time. In 2005, I released two successful applications - Freejack and Dissident DJ (the core concepts of this founded the basis for Iguana DJ) - and found myself inundated with requests for work, most of which I had to turn away.
In 2008, I decided to take the leap and focus on the company full-time, and since then, it has grown into a team of dedicated and like-minded developers. We've had the pleasure of working on a wide range of projects, including multimedia and database-driven desktop apps, high-performance web-based apps, mobile applications, games, and video applications. We moved from London to Brighton in 2010, then to Barcelona and later Alicante in 2013, expanding our reach and capabilities along the way.
